Privacy & data

What we collect, where it’s stored, who can see it, and how to remove it. Plain language, no dark patterns.

Updated May 2026.

The short version

We collect what you give us (your email, the listings you paste, the reports we generate). We store it in the EU. We don’t sell it. We don’t use it to train AI models. You can export everything or delete it from your account at any time.

What we collect

  • Account information. Your email address when you sign up. A name if you provide one. Authentication is via Clerk, which handles password storage and SSO (Google, Apple) on our behalf.
  • Listings you paste. When you paste a listing URL, PDF, or text, we extract the property details and store the original input plus the extracted record. Used to run the estimate, populate your saved-listings list, and let you re-run estimates.
  • Reports we generate. The full report (comp pool, adjustments, AI verdict) is saved in your account.
  • Usage metadata. When you ran which estimate, basic interaction logs. Used for performance and quality monitoring, not for advertising.

What we don’t collect

  • We don’t ask for your address, phone number, or government ID.
  • We don’t track you across other websites.
  • We don’t fingerprint your browser beyond what’s needed for security.
  • We don’t load third-party advertising trackers. No Google Analytics for advertising purposes; we use Plausible (first-party, no cross-site tracking).

Where the data lives

All primary data storage is in the EU. Specifically: the application database is Neon (EU region); authentication is Clerk; static asset hosting is Cloudflare. AI processing during an estimate involves sending listing data to AI providers (currently Google for extraction and summary, Anthropic for the qualitative review); the data is processed for the duration of the API call only, not stored on AI provider infrastructure beyond that.

Who can see your data

  • You. Always. Your full account is visible from the dashboard.
  • Anyone you share a report with. When you create a public share link (/r/<slug>), the report becomes accessible at that URL. The share contains the property analysis only; it does not reveal who ran the estimate, your name, or your email.
  • Adresse.ai operators. A small number of operators have administrative access for support, debugging, and quality monitoring. We don’t read individual reports unless you contact us about a specific issue.
  • Service providers (Clerk, Neon, Cloudflare, AI providers). Each operates under their own privacy and security commitments.

What we don’t do with your data

  • We don’t sell it to third parties. Not to lead-generation companies, not to estate agents, not to anyone.
  • We don’t use it to train AI models. Your inputs aren’t feeding any future training run.
  • We don’t share aggregated insights about your specific properties with anyone except you.
  • We don’t show you ads based on it.

Your rights under GDPR

Regardless of your nationality, because we operate in the EU and your data is stored in the EU, you have the right to:

  • Access. Request a full export of your data, available from the dashboard (“Export my data”) or by emailing us. Delivered as JSON within 30 days.
  • Correction. Update any inaccurate information. Most fields are editable from the dashboard.
  • Deletion. Request that we delete your account and all associated data. Available from the dashboard (“Delete account”) or by emailing us. Processed within 30 days.
  • Portability. Take your data elsewhere. The export format (JSON) is standard.
  • Objection or restriction of certain processing.
  • Complaint to your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, use the dashboard or email privacy@adresse.ai. We respond within 30 days.

Sharing reports

When you create a share link, the report at that URL becomes publicly accessible to anyone with the link. The link contains the property’s location, characteristics, comp pool, and analysis. It does not contain your name, email, account history, or any other property you’ve evaluated. You can revoke a share link at any time from the dashboard.

Cookies

We use a minimal set: essential cookies for authentication and security, plus first-party Plausible analytics (which doesn’t use cookies at all). No third-party advertising cookies, no retargeting cookies, no social-media tracking pixels.

Data retention

Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of account-deletion request. Reports are retained as long as your account exists, or for 12 months from generation for shared reports, whichever is longer.
